Many of our wish families have never traveled before. First time travel along with extra challenges common with traveling with a medically fragile child can be very overwhelming. To make their trip stress free and extra special, we have volunteers assist our families at the airport.
As an airport greeter, you will greet wish families at your local airport for the wish trip departure and return. Assisting with luggage, check in, security and then sending them off with well wishes for the trip of their lifetime or welcoming the family home, assisting with luggage and getting the family loaded back into transportation to head home are some of the extra touches you will be providing by becoming an airport greeter.
To join our volunteer team, you must:
- Be at least 18-years-old
- Agree to a background check
- Complete required training.
