Riley, 10, of Sioux Falls is back from Atlantis in the beautiful Bahamas! He and his family had an amazing time swimming with dolphins, snorkeling, jet skiing and enjoying the fabulous resort.
Riley suffers from aortic stenosis, a disease of the heart valves in which the opening of aortic valve is narrowed.
In asking Riley about his favorite part of his wish trip, here’s what he said: “It was cool to know that I was chosen for Make-A-Wish® because I am a survivor. It’s hard for me to choose one favorite part because I loved doing everything with my family.”
Joining him on his trip were his parents, Jamie and Tammy, and his sister Hailey. Here’s what their family wrote about their Make-A-Wish experience: “I think Riley said it best when he explained this gift as ‘once in a lifetime’. Being able to spend precious time together as en entire family as a way to celebrate Riley and his overcoming many obstacles was amazing.”
Riley’s wish was made possible by Krier & Blain, one of our Driving For Dreams® partners.
