Making A Child's Wish Come True

Rebekah Spader's Wish Gift Concert grants Kinsley's wish to go to Walt Disney World. Rebekah surprised the family whose wish was being granted at the Make-A-Wish® Golf Tournament benefit. In mid-July it was announced that Kinsley is cancer free and the family was overwhelmed when they realized Kinsley's wish will be granted.

The Spader family continues to stay positive through Rebekah's treatment and is focusing on spending quality time together and also giving back to others.

Make-A-Wish SD Receives More Than $19000 from Rebekahs Wish Gift Concert

Rebekah Spader's Wish Gift Concert raises $19,000 for Make-A-Wish® South Dakota! Her check was presented on July 20th at the Make-A-Wish Golf Tournament fundraising event. Spader, who received a wish in 2010 for a Rainbow Play System, has a bucket list and one of her goals is to help make another child’s wish come true.

After presenting the check, Spader had the chance to meet Kinsley, 3, and her family from Miller, the family whose wish she will be helping to make come true.

It's through an unwavering need to make a child's dream come true.
