The Northern Bull Riding Tour (NBRT) Champsionship Finals return to the Sioux Falls Arena September 29, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. during the annual Make-A-Wish Special Event Weekend.

The event includes third and final go-rounds of the NBRT Finals and the final round of the Young Guns.  Bull riders range from the ages of 14 to 32-years-old and are from towns across South Dakota.  This year’s NBRT includes a bull competition with ten contractors bringing their top three bucking bulls from the region.

Besides an opportunity to witness some of the best bull riders around, the weekend features Make-A-Wish children as the special guests of the NBRT, a tradition for the last nine years.  Make-A-Wish and the NBRT have had a relationship for more than 20 years.

Make-A-Wish kids, who have received a wish in recent years, and their families are the guests for the weekend and enjoy a pizza party, entertainment, breakfast and swimming at the Ramada Inn & Suites along with mini-golf and go-cart rides at Thunder Road.  On Saturday, September 29, friends of the Northern Bull Riding Tour will give horseback and wagon rides to the Make-A-Wish kids, followed by dinner.  That evening the wish kids are featured in the Grand Entry parade at the Northern Bull Riding Tour, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Sioux Falls Arena.  The weekend is made possible by the Northern Bull Riding Tour, who holds events to raise money for Make-A-Wish throughout the yaer, sponsors across the state and major sponsors Sanford Health, South Dakota Peace Officers Association, Ramada Inn & Suites and Spader’s RV Center.

“This is a family-friendly event you don’t want to miss,” Paul Krueger, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish South Dakota said. Come celebrate our amazing Make-A-Wish kids while seeing some of the area’s best bull riders in action in Sioux Falls.”
